4 P M eastern August 28th 4 to 12 A M is our broadcast day. Also some shows are not going to be streamed do to the laws. Like for some shows they are from One . F M Jamz and I don't have the rights to broadcast or relay them. But most of the shows will be streamed. Also some of the shows I do will have jaws in the back round because I don't have two sound cards. And can't use audio pipe line because I am not using winamp for my music I am using Yahoo so if you are anoyed by jaws then I sugest you don't listen some times.
Also on the weekend some of the shows will be from every ones favorite station T B R N! Things and Stuff! has been on the station since it started. And also that won't be streamed because its kind of pointliss.

Post 7 by Nick6489 (11 years a Zoner) on Friday, 18-Aug-2006 23:59:50

Please note something that pisses me off...severely.

Kerry, you have zero, that's right, zero right to charge for slots. You are not a licenced FM station. And even if you were an internet radio station charging for slots...You'd need at the very least a hosting plan with dedicated bandwidth. And in the real radio world. broadcasters don't pay you, you pay them.

Post 8 by AsianSensation (Veteran Zoner) on Saturday, 19-Aug-2006 3:35:59

OK, with no intentions of being condiscending, should I be at all skeptical that you've been able to spell your station name correctly once, maybe twice in your attempt at promoting it?

Post 9 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 19-Aug-2006 20:33:17

Here we go with the spelling shit again and yes alot of stations around here charge the people to do shows that is the real wirld I want to start my own station and the only I can do it is to start out small and grow large and charge people then when I have enuff money start paying people got it?

Post 10 by Nick6489 (11 years a Zoner) on Saturday, 19-Aug-2006 22:09:34

For fuck's sake, that is not how you get large! It's called "word of mout!"

Post 11 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 19-Aug-2006 22:44:55

Word of Mout what's that? Mouth got it but no for exzample A M 1320 the drive charges people 200 dollars an hour to do a show. That is how they get money. I want to do the same just cheaper and also I all ready have people that want to listen. Is every wants to fucken complain about it I will just might as well quit doing it. And not even start a stream. Also take Jammin 85.3 for example they charge there D J's its called dooze so there.

Post 12 by JDX (Newborn Zoner) on Sunday, 20-Aug-2006 5:34:44

I'm on Nick's side. Look at TBRN, it never charged people, and it provides universally a lot better quality than your streams are going to with only one sound card. Hell, look even at ACB, even it doesn't charge people. It's insulting to us people who have invested the time and money to get two sound cards and a nice sounding show that you're actually charging people to work along side you. Personally, I would never work for you even if you weren't charging me. If you want to get other people on your station, you should be encouraging them to do so, not asking them to pay for something that is really not a privilage, since it's available freely in many bigger and better places.

Post 13 by Nick6489 (11 years a Zoner) on Sunday, 20-Aug-2006 13:34:46

In your previous post, which was tough to read by the way, you said that you may as well stop doing internet radio. Don't stop listening, but I can tell you that you are just trying to make money off an experiment that I can give a 99 percent chance will fail. Nowhere on the Jammin 85.3 site suggests that there are any Dj payments.

Again i say. Don't stop being involved in listening to internet radio, but spend a bit of money yourself, get two sound cards, a non-USB mic that's decent, and learn how to best broadcast. May I direct those reading this topic to hitz Radio, a station that will be able to help you here.

Post 14 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Monday, 21-Aug-2006 12:54:07

Then is there a good internet radio station that will give me some bucks to broadcast? And to me the U S B mike sounds quite good. Its just my room that is peakie and echos loads.

Post 15 by Nick6489 (11 years a Zoner) on Monday, 21-Aug-2006 13:18:34

It's not the sound, but the technology. You need a pair of soundcards and a non-USB mic in order to do the what you hear thing. as far as money, internet radio really isn't the answer.

Post 16 by spfan15 (O&A Party Rock!!!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 5:06:01

Well i am syked to do my show. I can't wwait. If you want to call my listener line, please call 206-888-8833

Post 17 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 17:07:48

That is good O and A Fan if we get listeners hopefully you will. I will show them how good I can be and then they will say something. At least I won't be like T B R N and play stupid carts and crashing noizes during a song come on that is just not right! So take a listen at 4 P M August 28th and see how I do things!

Post 18 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 23:00:54

Jammin 85.3 does in fact charge dues. Its so cheap though, ($5 a month), that it didn't seem a big deal to pay to me. Now, that's a three hour show eeach week, tha'ts 12 hours of broadcasting, and if I did another show, filled in whatever, they wouldn't charge more. Kerry, do you have at least some type of limiting running on your station? Also, I'm not sure about how Part 15 stations work but before I would broadcast, I'd check everything to make sure its leagle. The last thing you need is someone especially an owner of a station), complaining about you chooseing the wrong frec, or someone else complaining to the feds about language on-air. Do you at least have a seven second delay with dump? I'm not sure how TBRN works but whatever show you do broadcast keep it clean as really, you don't want to get those hefty fines and equipment confascated from you.

Post 19 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 23:04:15

Well I jjust checked radio-locator. No WKJE in the AM or FM band so you're good there. Did you buy those calls though so that no one else takes them?

Post 20 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Friday, 25-Aug-2006 11:28:56

no I just solected it and it is only a little F M transmitter I got from Best By but I am wanting to make it mostly a online station. But the way I want to do it is to get money by donations or some other form to make it Leaggial and have a online licance.

Post 21 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 25-Aug-2006 22:30:27

Well if you are going to make it leagle, you're going to have to get an on-line licence, and an FM Licence. Quite expensive actually.

Post 22 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 26-Aug-2006 21:12:05

The online stream is no go due to the unprofetional equiptment and not having a licance and I don't need a licance to do the F M do to the transmitter that I have complies with part 15.

Post 23 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 26-Aug-2006 21:12:27

Now how do I delete this thing?

Post 24 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 26-Aug-2006 22:48:55

Ask Dan.

Post 25 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 26-Aug-2006 22:50:11

Though honestly, you probably wouldn't get caught.... I mean there a tun of internet stations that aren't licenced and that. But thought I'd let you know about this anyway.

Post 26 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Sunday, 27-Aug-2006 12:49:54

I thought that all stations had to be licanced but actually I don't think people care except the feds

Post 27 by Austin (the magic fan!) on Sunday, 27-Aug-2006 17:53:41

you fuck. bitch. your station sucs dick. hey guys for real radio listen to something else like http://kevs.no-ip.org:8000 or something like this. come on guys don't waste your time. and dude, don't charge people. people will say fuck you and they won't work there. so, i hope the fcc knows and if they don't, your screwed. nick is right all the way. so, yeah. and get a web site and promote it there. the bords don't deserve this disgracement! good luck. but i won't be listening. later dude!

Post 28 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Sunday, 27-Aug-2006 20:29:19

To make it leagle all station have to be licanced. Most interneters can't afford the hefty licanceing fees though.

Post 34 by Nick6489 (11 years a Zoner) on Wednesday, 30-Aug-2006 14:15:42

Austin,

Thanks for appologising, but I'm going to make this clear. Kevs isn't any better than the station now known as Jammin hits radio. Unless kerry is still asking for people to pay him, the two stations are not too different.

Post 35 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Wednesday, 30-Aug-2006 14:46:42

No I am not asking any one to pay me if they want to that is fine. I will stream unprofetionally untill I can get 2 sound cards. One just for jaws and the rest for music windows sounds and the mike through audio repeater.

Post 36 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Monday, 04-Sep-2006 13:33:45

Jammin Hits Radio is on now! check it out at jamminhitsradio.dyndns.org:8000

knock it off

Post 42 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Thursday, 16-Nov-2006 9:39:30

Nock it off what's that about?

Post 43 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Thursday, 16-Nov-2006 9:44:43

Jammin Hits Radio is listener supported there for we rely on donations to keep afloat why are there no improvements you ask? Well its because no one is donating donate to jammin hits radio and maybe things will get done such as getting a host name and a 800 number and getting better equiptment to broadcast so donate call (1206)736-0728 for more information.

Post 44 by Nick6489 (11 years a Zoner) on Thursday, 16-Nov-2006 19:15:26

Kerry, you seem to be in a situation which is quite...circular. To get money for improvements, you need listeners. To get listeners...you need money for improvements. Last Sunday, you say you had six listeners. Last Saturday morning at 1 AM, HKC Radio peaked at 17. Don't brag about listeners, because someone will come along and trump you. In this case, I just have.

Post 45 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Thursday, 16-Nov-2006 21:40:41

well do you have agood program skedual? Do you have a skype in number yet? Do you have good shows according to some people you don't. Jammin Hits Radio has the best programing and we are getting a skype in number we all ready have a hotmail and eventually we will get donations we are slowly progressing. I took Brandon and I think its the best thing I did you think I am going to give up Jammin Hits Radio? Guess again. And if you want us to have listeners why don't you help in the matter

Post 46 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 18-Nov-2006 0:40:38

OH no responde? Hmmm thought so. Any way Jammin Hits Radio is no longer due to low band with some of the jammin hits radio shows like the Dan and Mo show will be going over to the blade so check it out!

Post 47 by changedheart421 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 18-Nov-2006 18:45:10

damn it seems like a lot of these low stations go fast.

Post 48 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 18-Nov-2006 23:45:50

Well since some people want to still do there shows on Jammin Hits Radio I am bringing Jammin Hits Radio back but in 64 K M P 3 audio so check it out tomorrow starting at 12 eastern with wirb radio with richard!

Post 49 by Nick6489 (11 years a Zoner) on Friday, 24-Nov-2006 11:58:30

Give up the ghost, Kerry. The Blade has more resources to work with, and is an all around better place to broadcast than Jammin hitz radio. This goes for anyone else who's trying the small station thing. Austin seems receptive enough, and it's the Blade which I will support, no other of these small jobbys.

Post 50 by mistervera (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 25-Nov-2006 12:37:15

Well if you support the Blade then listen to my show from 7 to 9 P M Munday through Friday. I m also trying to get on cool 3 60.
